SARA NASIRI SOVARI
Sara Nasiri Sovari studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Shiraz (Iran) and graduated in 2010 with a Master's degree, specialized in “Organic Chemistry”. After graduation, she has been recruited by a pharmaceutical company as a Synthetic Organic Chemist in the R&D department (Tehran, Iran). In 2017, she joined Prof. F. Zobi's research group at the University of Fribourg, and started working on the total synthesis of new generation of antimalarial, anticancer and antimicrobilal drugs.

Total synthesis of new generation of antimalarial drugs for the targeted treatment of the liver stage of the Plasmodium parasites.
